Role Summary


We are seeking a Security Systems Senior Engineer to join our Middle East office. The ideal candidate shall have a bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Telecommunication field, with minimum 10 years’ Design Consultancy experience in Technical Security Systems in Middle East (UAE, Qatar & KSA).


Your new role, what's involved?

Design and Implementation of integrated Technical Security Systems (including Video Surveillance System, Access Control Alarm System, Intrusion Detection, Security Intercommunication System, Physical Security Systems) to high standards and quality.
Ensure good understanding of the Local Authority Guidelines
Consulting skill with the client to understand the operational requirements
Good understanding of the Security Risk Assessment Report.
Good knowledge to input technical requirements in the Security Strategy report.
Experience in project management including understanding the scope, deliverables, program, etc.
Create complete Technical Security Design packages involving not limited to.
Preparation of Technical Security Reports & Specifications.
Develop Design Schematics, Typical Details and Device Placement Layouts.
Inter-discipline Coordination from Concept to Tender design stages
Coordination with Local Authority Departments (where applicable) to obtain project approval.
Capable to present the proposed system scheme to the client/PMO
Undertake field surveys and audits.
Work closely with Engineers and BIM concerning project requirements and timelines.
Experience in coordination with internal and external stake holders
Support construction administration activities, such as supervision works.
Ensure Quality Management System and Project Lifecycle compliance across team and projects.

The ideal candidate will possess the follow competencies and expected behaviors


Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or Technology related discipline.
Demonstrates a sense of personal ownership and responsibility for achieving the results of Clients and WSP.
Embraces diversity of nationalities, cultures, and perspectives.
Excellent experience in various Security Systems design at buildings, master plan and infrastructure level design.
Excellent knowledge in Local Authority Latest Guidelines and Approval process.
Proficient in various security system such as Video Surveillance System Design tools, Security Command & Control Centre Design, Hostile Vehicle Mitigation standards, security network design etc.
Excellent Knowledge of multiple Security Systems product lines.
Familiar with AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Revit, SketchUp.
Security Certifications are desirable.
Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external contacts
