Overview

We are looking to hire an experienced and efficient Manager- Network and Cybersecurity for Presight Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

Developing and implementing network and cybersecurity policies and procedures.

Managing network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and switches.

Monitoring and analyzing network performance to identify potential issues.

Investigating security incidents and coordinating incident response.

Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to networking and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have

Bachelor Degree or higher in IT / Engineering

10 years of experience in the same field.

Managing, deploying and maintaining security infrastructure

Implementing security systems, such as firewalls, data protection controls and encryption

Conducting vulnerability tests and identifying and addressing any weaknesses

Monitoring information systems and responding to any cyber-security incidents

Automating security controls, data and processes

Developing policy around third-party risk with vendors and suppliers

Identifying and managing data privacy risks and compliance requirements

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on cyber-security technologies and standards

Possibly training employees to understand and follow security measures

Specialist security certifications such CISM,CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).

Set and implement user access controls and identity and access management systems

Monitor network and application performance to identify and irregular activity

Perform regular audits to ensure security practices are compliant

Deploy endpoint detection and prevention tools to thwart malicious hacks

Set up patch management systems to update applications automatically

Implement comprehensive vulnerability management systems across all assets on-premises and in the cloud

Work with IT operations to set up a shared disaster recovery/business continuity plan

Work with HR and/or team leads to educate employees on how to identify suspicious activity

CCNA , CCNP , NSE certifications.

Ideally, you’ll also need

Cyber security managers have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

Developing security policies, procedures, and guidelines based on industry best practices

Maintaining awareness of new cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to keep the organization secure

Conducting risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities

Monitoring network activity to identify signs of intrusion or compromise

Developing security policies, procedures and guidelines that are compliant with federal regulations

Providing technical support for computer networks, including firewalls, operating systems and applications, patch management, and data security best practices

Supervising and training staff on information security best practices to ensure compliance with company policies

Conducting audits to ensure security protocols are being followed by staff

Providing training in information security best practices to employees or clients
