Job title: Security Assistant
Location: Rochester. We offer flexible working arrangements.
Salary: Circa. £20,500
What you’ll be doing:
· Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on all matters of security.
· Work closely with the Reception and Guarding Teams ensuring all security requirements are met.
· Administration of the access control system, including issuing security passes.
· Liaise with Line Mangers to ensure equipment, documents, passes and other company assets are returned, as and when required.
· Process visitors and contractors via the Visitor system.
· Advise on vetting: both in-house and NSV. In-house vetting checks to be completed to BPSS standards.
Your skills and experiences:
ESSENTIALS
· Previous experience using IT systems, proficient in MS office or other productivity packages
· Ability to work on own initiative & handle confidential/sensitive information
· Strong customer service experience & communication skills
DESIRABLES
· Experienced in records management & organising maintain electronic and hard copy documents

The Security Function team:
The Security Assistant will support the Site Security Office and wider Security Function. Working closely with the Security Coordinator you will assist with the day to day running of the Security Office, responsible for implementing all security requirements relating to the Electronic Systems Business in the UK, from our people and infrastructure to our information and assets.
