IT Strategy & Governance Expert

Abu Dhabi


We are seeking an experienced IT Strategy & Governance Expert playing a crucial role in developing and implementing IT strategies and policies that align with core business objectives and support the overall governance framework. You will analyze current IT systems and processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive the development and implementation of new strategies and policies.


Responsibilities:


Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture through integrated planning across the organization and the IT business unit.
Analyze market trends, identify emerging technologies, and assess the organization's IT capabilities to develop IT strategies that align with business objectives.
Establish and implement an IT governance framework that aligns with the organization's overall governance structure, including developing policies, procedures, and decision-making processes.
Identify and manage IT risks, including cybersecurity risks, data privacy risks, and compliance risks, through the development of risk management strategies and incident response.
Ensure compliance of IT policies and procedures with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards by conducting assessments and implementing monitoring tools.
Manage IT projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution, by working with project teams, monitoring timelines, and reporting to senior management.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, providing IT expertise, developing relationships, and communicating IT strategy and policies.
Design and manage various architecture layers (business, information, application, technology) and ensure compliance with established standards.
Oversee IT-related application development, working closely with Application Leads to align with defined business processes.
Drive continuous improvement and development in line with business requirements and adherence to standards and protocols.


Requirements:


Proven experience in IT strategy development and governance
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks
Knowledge of emerging technologies and market trends
Experience in risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity
Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
Familiarity with ITIL processes and quality standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Adaptability to change and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
