Job Description

Job Purpose: Build, manage and operate security technologies in compliance to corporate policy and standards. Ensure security designs meet business requirements and address risk.The senior engineer is an experienced Avionics, In-Flight Entertainment (IFE), EFB and Enablement cybersecurity engineer. The primary responsibility is to plan and lead the execution of risk assessments, compliance reviews, vulnerability assessments and penetration tests for aircraft technologies and ground support systems and equipment. The senior engineer work output supports continuous review and compliance to internal policies and standards. Job Outline: - Lead the discovery projects and build high level designs to accomplish business needs while prioritizing cyber risk reduction. - Manage the cybersecurity technology lifecycle from conception to service operation. - Make design decisions aligning to security principles. Coordinate with internal teams to build support for design decisions and favorable risk reduction outcomes. - Build technical documentation for cybersecurity technology designs, operations and support the creation of associated security technology standards. - Facilitate the ongoing review of cybersecurity technology designs and alignment to industry best practices. - Support the diagnosis and resolution of cybersecurity technology issues as a subject matter expert.
Qualifications & Experience: Information Technology.Other : 5+ Years Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) : Degree in Computer Science or Engineering Network Technologies Certifications such as CCIE Security, JNCIP-SEC, PCNSE and CCSP are desired. Experience in Information Technology, Networking and Cybersecurity Knowledge/skills: - Detailed understanding of enterprise networks, identity and access management and security technologies such as EPP, EDR, MTA - An ability to troubleshoot, isolate and diagnose common technology problems Desired Skills: - Knowledge and skills in aircraft engineering and CyberSecurity. - Technical Specialisation (Security) - Aviation Technologies Security
