Job Description
This position’s primary duty and responsibility is to provide training support and bespoke learning solutions to all internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for Analysing training needs, Designing learning programmes, Implementing training, and Reporting on the impact of training to all stakeholders.
The position is based in Johannesburg, South Africa, working with international Clients and employees across all levels within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee global IT operations, drive improvement of end user satisfaction with IT systems and services
Create long-term operating strategy for the IT Operations Department identify, develop, implement ICT frameworks, standards, policies, procedures/ best practices
Plan annual IT budgets, control approved budgets, reporting expenditures
Manage internal/external audits PCI-DSS, ISO27001, ISO9001, SOC-2
Report IT operational performance, identify, implement, monitor mitigating actions
Manage external service providers to contractual agreements
Understand client technical solutions and provide infrastructure and architectural input
Lead Service Desk, System Support, Information Security, Development departments globally to the company's Core Values
Be the subject matter expert in IT technical support and management, and oversee resolution of any major system challenges and issues experienced; as well as optimisation of system and platform performance
Requirements
8-10 years in a fast-paced technology
5 years leading
Respected as a leader and a technologist
Evidence of innovative thinking and experience of thinking outside the box and problem
Evidence where this individual took challenges head-on and played a key role in leading
