Job Description

ARENGY is an Engineering, IT-Digital and Cybersecurity Recruitment and Consulting firm operating in the Middle East from UAE. Our customers are the most successful industry leaders executing projects around the globe. We are recruiting a Senior Lab Engineer (Wireless/Telecom) with RF background for a Permanent Position with an emerging leader on advanced Radio Frequency and Real-time Telecommunication Systems for Security and Protection.

Job Description

Assist in design, assembly, and test civil and military wireless telecommunication systems

Assemble prototype systems/subsystems and fixture to test and troubleshoot product performance including rework/soldering/rerouting of system's elements

Bring-up subsystems/boards. Build the testing setups, test, run analysis and debug systems/boards which are under development

Develop Test automation tools by using Python.

Perform functional tests of RF components, RF subsystems, digital and analog components, power supplies, filters, and other electrical and mechanical elements

Create and perform Factory Acceptance Test and field tests

Write and follow test plan and procedures, generate clear and concise test reports

Requirements

Profile / Requirements :

BSc in electrical engineering is required

5+ years experience in lab environment

Practical knowledge and experience of electronics

Strong experience in Labview and Python

Capacity to develop Test Automation tools on Python

Practical hands-on skills with electronic and mechanical equipment, components soldering

Experience with RF equipment such as: Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Network Analyzer, Cellular Signals Analysis, - is an advantage

Demonstrated ability to build, test and troubleshoot systems

Knowledge of electronic assembly and wiring methods

Knowledge in Cellular Communication (ETSI/3GPP) - is an advantage

Experience in RF board design - is an advantage

Self-directed - highly capable at planning out work and executing projects independently

Ability to create / edit manufacturing drawings, MBD (Model-Based Definition) process is a plus
