Job Description: IT Administrator

Location: Al Ain

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for overseeing and handling network, Servers, Workstations, IT equipment, Avaya PABX, Microsoft O365, Apple TV, IPTV, iOS, MacOS, other devices, IP CCTV Camera, and support for the underlying server/desktop infrastructure.
Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices

(routers, printers etc.)

Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) WiFi access points, printers etc. to ensure functionality and perform routine maintenance.
Install and configure appropriate required software and functions according to specifications.
Deploying & maintaining indoor/ outdoor WiFi Access points using heat maps.
Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance.
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
Ensure 100% network / webserver uptime.
Keep updated with latest technology and security risks on a regular basis.
Able to perform other IT related task assigned by the management.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related field, along with in depth knowledge of Microsoft OS, MacOS, Linux & Ubuntu, iOS, and networking.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT Administration. Preferably in the

Hotel industry.

Proven ability to operate autonomously in high pressure situations, successfully handle multiple competing priorities and possess a high level of discipline while displaying a high degree of flexibility and professionalism.
Excellent communication and listening, organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to develop clear and concise documentation. · Demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology.
Must be flexible in working hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and the ability to travel.
Working knowledge of the ITIL Incident Management processes in an IT service delivery environment.
Holds a detailed understanding of core internet technologies – Routing and Switching, DNS, DHCP, mail transport, OSI Model.

Telecom knowledge including VOIP / SIP and mobile technologies is advantageous.
Preferably with a Certification as IT Administrator (e.g., CompTIA A+,

Microsoft Certified IT Professional, CCNA, Red Hat, ITIL)

A background in Networking - LAN / WAN and Wireless, workstation installation & troubleshooting, iOS, Linux.
Working knowledge of FortiGate, Ubiquiti & Cisco devices.
Good knowledge of Cyber security and data privacy principles.
