Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Financial Services

Dubai


We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a strong background in financial services, preferably within a large bank. As the CTO, you will play a pivotal role in the successful launch of a new product within our well-established payment processing company.


Responsibilities:


Strategic Technology Leadership: Drive the overall technology strategy, vision, and roadmap for the organization, aligning it with business objectives and ensuring a competitive advantage in the financial services industry.
Product Innovation: Lead the development and launch of the new product, leveraging your expertise in financial services to create cutting-edge solutions that meet market demands and exceed customer expectations.
Technology Architecture: Define and implement a scalable and robust technology architecture, ensuring the security, stability, and scalability of our systems, while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and expertise.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with external partners and vendors to evaluate and select technology solutions, negotiate contracts, and ensure successful integration of third-party systems.
Risk Management: Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats to the organization's technology infrastructure, including cybersecurity risks, data breaches, and compliance issues.
Technology Trends and Market Analysis: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscape in the financial services sector. Evaluate their potential impact and recommend strategies for leveraging these technologies to drive business growth.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing the financial services industry, such as data privacy, anti-money laundering (AML), and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and business development, to align technology initiatives with business goals and drive successful product launches.
Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness and efficiency of technology systems and processes. Regularly report on performance to executive leadership and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.


Qualifications:


Extensive experience in a senior technology leadership role within the financial services industry, preferably within a large bank or financial institution.
Strong knowledge and understanding of payment processing systems, financial products, and regulatory requirements.
Proven track record of successfully launching new products to market within established companies, with a focus on leveraging technology for business growth and innovation.
Expertise in technology architecture, infrastructure management, and security protocols.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically, analyze complex problems, and make data-driven decisions.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Additional certifications in financial services or technology management are highly desirable.
