Our Client a Global Tech firm is a Project Manager – Cyber Security to join their team in Sandton on a contract basis. They offer stability, attractive rates and a great working environment.
The role provides monitoring and reporting support during the project management lifecycle, including project scheduling, budgeting, planning and control.
The role is also required to manage the project scope, the project team and resources, the project budget, and the success or failure of key projects when required.
Requirements
Complies with the company’s policies and standards during the execution and development of each DT project
Identifying and communicating changes that may affect the project’s scope or timeline
Monitoring resource allocation, timelines, and other key metrics to ensure project milestones are met
Facilitating meetings with stakeholders to ensure effective communication about projects
Developing and maintaining a project schedule and keeping it updated as the project progresses
Reviewing all deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and align with DT guidelines
Monitoring and controlling work input and scope to ensure that all projects remain on track and in control
Ensuring the projects and activities are executed in the most efficient and agile way based on agreed company methodologies, tools, and processes
Planning and managing program stakeholders, scope, activities, conflict resolution, and approach in and across a highly matrixed global organization through direct interaction and communication, regular status reports and personally managing escalations, when necessary
Scope – Cyber Security projects / License to operate / Intune / Blocking or Conditional Access Management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or a related field required
5+ years of experience in project management and/or project leadership with an emphasis on cyber security
Previous experience in security operations and/or cyber threat intelligence preferred.
Six years of work experience with an emphasis on information security, project management and risk assessment skills
Must have strong understanding of software engineering and programming languages such as Java, C++ and/or C#
Strong project management experience with a proven track record of success
